Following the intersection upgrade by Lend Lease outside of the Penrith Golf Club, CCI – Safety fencing were engaged to erect a safety screen for the containment of balls within the grounds of the golf club, due to the encroachment of the new road works. To properly protect road users the engagement of an independent “Launch Trajectory” was commission to evaluate how errant shots would effect the sits, with considerations to all the golfing capabilities. The outcome was a screen some 100 metres in length by 12 metres in height. There were no issues during the build and it was mandatory for CCI – Safety netting to comply with the strict safety and compliance due to Lendlease’s regulation requirements.
100m long x 12m high/ Dyneema Netting was used.
The job operated smoothly, with no issues.
